We value positive relationships with parents and carers to help develop better social and emotional skills in children. We know that when children are engaged with their learning, they attend school more regularly, leading to better long term outcomes.

For parenting and counselling services, visit the Family Support page, and for direction and clarity on regulations, processes and procedures at our school, read the Sydney Catholic School policies.

Compass, the student information system allows parents to receive regular updates, school reports, newsletters, notes and attendance snapshot information. It is a ‘one stop shop’ to receive all organisational, administrative information about the college and your child.

Parents Advisory Council

The college maintains a parents advisory council which aims to enhance the partnership between families and the college. The council’s role is to operate as a forum for future strategic planning and to provide the means for parents to have direct input into the direction and focus of the college.

The parent advisory council consists of members of the college leadership team and parents are invited to attend. Meetings are held once a term. Notification regarding upcoming meetings are advertised through the college newsletter and the Compass app.

Parents In Touch

A new initiative has begun in partnership with De La Salle College Caringbah. Parents in Touch is an informative evening delivered once each term at alternate schools. Current topics are presented to parents that are informative and interactive around raising children in the current climate. Areas of conversation and information include bullying, gaming, social media, boys and girls education, how to raise a teenager, friends, drugs, anti social behaviour, where to get help, how to assist with homework and assignments, depression and anxiety, 21st century learning, counselling and more.

Parents are welcome to attend all college events including; Mothers Day Morning Tea, Father’s Day BBQ breakfast, sport carnivals, debating, public speaking and other college events.
