Performing Arts
The performing arts are an important part of life at OLMC. Students are encouraged to take advantage of the many opportunities offered and to enjoy rehearsing and performing with a great group of people who share their interests.
The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award
The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award is a world-wide and highly prestigious service award which aims to establish leadership and initiative in students and the chance for them to discover their full potential.
Sport
The Friday sport and activities program is an important part of each student’s overall education. It allows an opportunity for students to experience a range of competitive and non-competitive recreational activities.
Public Speaking and Debating
Public Speaking and Debating are an important part of life at OLMC. Students are encouraged to take advantage of the many opportunities offered through Rostrum Public Speaking competitions and Sydney Catholic Schools Debating and Public Speaking competitions.
Mercy Action Group (MAG)
This group is a student-led, service-oriented team at OLMC Burraneer that embodies the charism of Catherine McAuley through social justice, advocacy, and community service. They address local and global issues like poverty, environmental degradation, and marginalization through initiatives such as volunteering, fundraising for Caritas Australia, and raising awareness.
