The performing arts are an important part of life at OLMC. Students are encouraged to take advantage of the many opportunities offered and to enjoy rehearsing and performing with a great group of people who share their interests. It is a great way to extend their skills and talents and represent the College.

Choir

For students who enjoy singing, there are many opportunities to participate and excel. Our choir has performed at many events including concerts, presentation nights, liturgies and other community events. No audition is required for this group – just commitment and a love of singing. Rehearsals are one afternoon per week, finishing at 3.45pm.

Band

Students who play a band instrument are encouraged to join the combined De La Salle/OLMC band which performs in competitions and concerts throughout the year. Other exciting opportunities are offered to this group, such as band camps and tours. Rehearsals are at De La Salle Catholic College Caringbah, each Wednesday after school.

Chamber Group

Students who play an orchestral instrument are encouraged to join our chamber group to experience the joy of ensemble playing and to expand their repertoire. The chamber group performs at school events and functions and rehearses once a week before school.

Dance Troupe

The OLMC dance troupe is a committed group of students who love to dance. The troupe rehearses with our dance teacher one morning per week. Our troupe has had great success performing in concerts, eisteddfods and community events. Entry is by audition.
