It was a privilege to host our Mother and Daughter Mother’s Day Breakfast this morning.

What a wonderful celebration of all our mother figures in the OLM community.

College Captain Sophie and Vice Captain Amelia, joined Archbishop Anthony Fisher OP for a luncheon at St Mary’s Cathedral House with other Year 12 student leaders from Sydney Catholic Schools.

The topic for discussion this year was “Trust in the Lord: For True Peace and Strength”.

This luncheon allowed students to discuss modern challenges, ask questions, and engage with the Archbishop, also networking with peers from other schools, followed by a Q&A session.

Our first OLM Empower lunch for the year was designed to provide professional development, networking, and inspiration to attendees, frequently focusing on mentoring or supporting women in business and community leadership. The lunches focus on sharing career journeys, fostering connections, and discussing personal growth.
This week our special guest was Kelly Salmon. Kelly shared her career journey in HR and shared what it is like running a small business and fostering connections. We appreciated her time and valuable expertise.
