Congratulations to OLM’s Intermediate Tennis Team who took out the Bronze Medal in their division at the SCS Tennis Gala Day yesterday.

Year 10 girls Nika, played the Singles matches and Tenya and Sophie played the Doubles matches.

The Semi Finals in the Singles games was fiercely contested with St Charbel’s, Punchbowl, winning the Singles match but OLM Doubles team convincingly won the Doubles over St Charbel’s 8 games to 1.

Progressing onto the Finals our girls played Our Lady of The Sacred Heart College, Kensington. In Singles Nika turned up the heat in her games winning her match 5 games to 3.
Tenya and Sophie played a nail biter in their Doubles games with the outcome being a win 5 games to 3 on the last point. Points the 3 girls achieved during the tournament resulted in a Bronze Medal.

Our students were great ambassadors for the College, displaying enthusiasm and the Mercy spirit our College is known for. Congratulations on achieving the Bronze Medal in your division.

Thank you to Mr Pagano who accompanied the girls with great enthusiasm and encouragement.

OLM Years 9&10 Dance elective Students attended a performance by some of Sydney Dance Company’s leading choreographers.
Students viewed this performance as part of completing their Assessment Task in Term 3.
They participated in pre-show discussions & demonstration, a performance and post show Q & A.
